Cheltenham Town will make the journey to Coach Road on Sunday, in the Grecians final home game of the calendar year.
Three weeks on from City's last taste of league action, a convincing 2-0 win at home to AFC Wimbledon, the team has seen a brief hiatus from Women's National League South fixtures. A loss in the Adobe Women's FA Cup to Chatham Town, followed by a fixture-less weekend in the wake of the Gwalia United postponement leaves Abbie Britton's side hungry to claim another three points on home turf before the calendar year is up.
Sunday's opponents Cheltenham Town come into this one on the back of a much-needed win against bottom of the league Billericay Town, moving the Robins up to fifth and ending a three-game losing streak. This streak saw the Gloucestershire side suffer a 3-1 loss to Swindon Town in the WNL League Cup, a 1-0 loss to Hashtag United in the league, and a 4-0 loss to Lewes in the Adobe Women's FA Cup consecutively. Notable threats that the travelling Robins could pose for City include the likes of Clarabella Hall, scoring seven goals in all competitions this season as well as amassing two assists in those 17 appearances.
The Grecians will look to lean on a bustling crowd down at Coach Road to help them get over the line in this festive fixture, so be sure to come along and show off your Christmas shirts! Tickets are still available with more information and links to purchase below.
