Exeter City Assistant Manager Dan Green hotly anticipates Tuesday night's Jersey Mike's Trophy game against Oxford United at St James Park.
Looking to build off the success of Saturday's 1-0 win over Rotherham United, Dan said: "I thought actually it was a whole club performance; the fans were excellent throughout the game and the players really fed off their energy and and vice versa. I thought it was a real collective effort and a brilliant example of players coming into the team, making sure that they were ready for their opportunity and really stepping up. So yeah, individually, collectively and as a whole club, a fantastic day."
With the Grecians returning to Jersey Mike's Trophy action for the first time since a 2-2 draw against Cheltenham Town, Dan said: "We expect the players tomorrow night to turn up and be ready to perform. Oxford haven't played for a couple of weeks, so it'll be two different states for each team. We're coming off the back of Saturday, I'd imagine maybe they played a friendly in those couple of weeks, but not a competitive fixture so it's important that we set the tempo for the game."
