Gary Caldwell speaks ahead of Saturday's home game against Reading

Gary Caldwell has shared his thoughts as City will look to begin a winning streak at home against Reading on Saturday.

Despite Reading's current position in Sky Bet League One, Gary is under no illusions that this weekend's game will anything other than a competitive match.

"I think they'll bring a real need to win some points. They're in a position that they probably didn't expect themselves to be in."

"They're a team that will be very hungry to win, and we are going to have to be at our very best to beat that challenge."

"We know that when we get it going at SJP, then it can be a really difficult place for teams to come. We have to make sure that we can try and turn those Huddersfield-type performances into wins."

City will be without talisman, Josh Magennis, this weekend due to an international call-up for the Northern Irishman.

"Getting a call-up is something I know he's really proud about, and something he wants to continue. Hopefully he'll get on the pitch for Northern Ireland in both of the games, and create an impact positively for them."
