Huddersfield Town Preview

The Grecians make their first trip of 2026 this Sunday as we make the long trip to the Accu Stadium to face Huddersfield Town in a 3pm kick-off.

City head up North full of confidence and will be looking to make it three wins in a row after beating AFC Wimbledon 1-0 on the road on Monday and Luton Town 1-0 at the Park on Thursday.

Our hosts picked up a strong point away at high-flying Lincoln City on New Year's Day and currently sit in fifth place in the League.

To all the Grecians making the trip - we thank you for your support. Sing loud and sing proud on Sunday!

Previous Encounter

Exeter City 0 Huddersfield Town 1 | 27/09/25 | EFL Sky Bet League One

The Grecians were left frustrated at St James Park as, despite creating several good chances, they fell to a 1-0 defeat against Huddersfield Town.

A fantastic curling effort from Leo Castledine midway through the first half proved the only difference between the sides. City huffed and puffed, seeing an effort ruled out for offside, hitting the woodwork and forcing several good saves, but they couldn’t find the equaliser.
