Exeter City Women are back playing in our City this Thursday, hosting Torquay United in a pre-season friendly at the Cliff Hill Training Ground!
The Grecians opened their pre-season campaign with a comfortable 5-0 victory away at Keynsham Town and will look to build on that positive start when they welcome the Gulls to the Cliff. However, they face a tough test against a Torquay side that enjoyed an unbeaten run to the fifth-tier title last season.
Ryan Perks’ side also boast several players familiar to City supporters, none more so than striker Sarah Stacey, who joined the Gulls this summer after leaving the Grecians in May.
Thursday’s fixture will provide the first opportunity for many supporters to see City’s new-look squad in action, with eight new faces already confirmed ahead of the 2026/27 season.
