Women's Match Preview: Torquay United (A)

City Women will be looking to carry their impressive WNL Cup form into this season's FA Cup with a trip to Torquay United on Sunday.

In wake of last weekend's WNL Cup victory against Fulham, Abbie Britton will be looking for her team to build momentum in cup tournaments this season. A hat-trick from frequent scorer, Sophie Gillies, and a goal from Ishbel Zuurmond confirmed City's place in the second round of the tournament, where they will face AFC Bournemouth on 9th November in a 2pm kick-off.

This Sunday's opponents, currently sit fifth in the Shield Services Group South West Regional Womens Football League Premier Division. Similarly to City, the Gulls come into this game on the back of their own cup success, beating Tiverton Town 7-0 last weekend in the Red Rock Electrical Women's Premier Cup.
