City's captain shares his thoughts ahead of Thursday's inaugural Devon Derby of the season at SJP.
Following a trying spell in the second half of last season, Pierce is glad to have finally reached the 400 mark on club appearances in red & white; "I was about eight or nine [appearances] short, so I was eager to get that done. Seeing it on paper means it looks like a lot, but it definitely feels like I've played about 600."
"We'll approach the game as if it's any other game, we'll identify where we think we can hurt Plymouth, where their strengths are, and hopefully we can turn up on Thursday and come out of the blocks firing."
"I think both sets of fans, and both sets of players, will want to approach this game with a clear mind. I'm all for rivalries between clubs, but we have to draw a line."
