We are delighted to announce that Kieran Wilson has signed his first professional contract with the club!
The Scottish forward, who can play across the frontline, has signed a deal that will see him join Gary Caldwell's first team squad ahead of pre-season beginning at the Cliff Hill Training Ground tomorrow.
Kieran made his senior debut for City in September 2024, coming off the bench against Tottenham Hotspur under-21 in the EFL Trophy, and he also scored during pre-season last year, capping off a victory against Yeovil with a well-taken goal.

"It's a very proud moment for me and my family as well," Kieran said, after putting pen to paper. "Obviously I moved down here and that's what I've been working towards these last couple of years so I'm very proud to finally become a professional football player."
Initially joining the Grecians as a scholar in 2023, Kieran moved to Devon from Scottish side Airdrieonians on the recommendation of former City forward Alan Gow, who was in charge of the Diamonds' youth setup.
Since then, he's been a regular for the under-18s, originally playing out on the wing before transitioning into a central striker role towards the end of the 2024/25 campaign.
Kieran also spent time on loan at Plymouth Parkway last season, netting his first senior goal away at Merthyr Tydfil.
Academy Director Arran Pugh shared his thoughts on Kieran when the academy retain list was announced in May. "He's massive, he's around 6 foot 4! He's really quick, one of the quickest we've had come through the academy in his testing," explained Arran.
"He's developed before coming to the academy and during his time here as a winger, we see his potential more as a central forward, as a number nine. For the last couple of months he's been really trying to hone his understanding and skills as a central forward.
"He's scored some really good goals and been a real threat during that time."

Although Kieran signed his contract earlier this summer, he had already returned north of the border for the off-season - so we’ve only just had the chance to catch up with him now. You can watch our full interview with the Scotsman now on Greican+!
