We are recruiting a Matchday Media Assistant on a casual worker, seasonal basis to primarily support our Media & Communications team with women’s football activities.
Reporting into our Social Media and Media Manager and working closely with our Women’s Operations Manager the successful candidate will need to be available throughout the season in line with women’s fixtures (home and away), ensuring pre and post-match duties are carried out and all general media operations fulfilled.
Role Summary
As part of this role you will assist with external coordination including photographers, press box and media seating. Distribute team sheets and match notes. Capture behind the scenes content including arrival shots, warm-ups, fan engagement and provide live updates across social platforms, match highlights. Post-match duties include coordinate player and coach interviews, help set up press conferences, uploading content quickly after full-time.
The key responsibilities of this role are:
- Creating engaging content for supporters through social media channels.
- Provide match updates for home and away matches, following the established club style guide.
- Editing of match graphics and official club photographs if/when required.
- Editing of match day videos where appropriate.
- Conducting and filming interviews with first team players and staff.
- Writing of detailed match reports, closely following the established company style
- Writing any other associated match day content as and when required.
- At all times, comply with the company process and policy.
