Exeter City will look to build on their first League Two victory of the season when they travel north to face newly promoted York City on Saturday afternoon.
The Grecians make the trip to the LNER Community Stadium for a 3pm kick-off, with Matt Taylor’s side looking to continue the positive momentum from last weekend’s 2-0 home victory over Accrington Stanley.
City opened their campaign with a narrow 1-0 defeat away to Grimsby Town, but responded impressively in their first home league fixture. Captain Jack Fitzwater opened the scoring inside two minutes against Accrington, before Gwion Edward's deflected strike doubled the advantage midway through the first half. The Grecians controlled proceedings from there to secure their first three points of the campaign and first clean sheet.
Up next are a York side who have made an encouraging return to the EFL following their promotion as National League champions last season. The Minstermen began their campaign with an entertaining 3-2 victory over Bristol Rovers at the LNER Community Stadium. They followed that up with another positive result on the road last weekend, drawing 1-1 with Rotherham United.
With almost 600 tickets sold already, a strong away backing expected, the Grecians will have plenty of support behind them as they look to return from Yorkshire with another three points, and make it back-to-back wins!

Matt Taylor's Preview
Speaking in his weekly pre-match press conference, Matt said: "I've got to try and keep the team as level as I possibly can. So, you know, as much as we enjoyed the winning moments in football, which is so, so important, we stay level. We understand when it doesn't quite go our way and we get beat, and then we understand what goes into a winning performance, which puts the extra spring in your step in terms of training, which we've seen this week, and has helped some of the younger ones in terms of where their bodies and minds are at, but we are under no illusions what we're going to be up against this weekend.
