Blackpool Match Preview image

Exeter City return to competitive action at St James Park for the first time since April with Blackpool the visitors to Devon on Saturday in a 3pm kick-off.

After defeat to Doncaster on the opening day last weekend, the match is an opportunity to get some points on the board in front of a home crowd and get the season running, though Blackpool will be hoping they can do the same after losing 3-2 at home to Stevenage in their first game.

We can't wait to see you back at SJP. It's been a while, so if you need a refresher on what to expect on a match day, check out our handy Return to SJP Guide!

Head to Head Record

The Grecians don't have the best record against Blackpool - but all bad runs can come to an end! In the 23 matches played against the Tangerines, City have won five, drawn six and lost 12.

City's last win was in March 2001, when they recorded a 2-1 win in old Division Three. The last match between the two came in January of this year, when Blackpool won 3-1 at SJP. Milli Alli scored City's goal that day.
