Some snaps of hundreds of children and adults using the pitch at the Park
Here is a small collection of photographs of kids and adults from around Exeter, using the St James Park after the final home game of the season on Saturday 20th April, and before the pitch renovation began on Tuesday 7th May.
Work has now begun on the pitch to get it ready for pre-season friendlies, which will be announced in due course.
Youth Commercial Manager David Evans said: “It was great that club was able to open the gates again to so many members of the local community – in particular the youngsters that got their first chance to play at the Park.
“The futsal tournament on the final day was a highlight, as over 300 kids were able to use the pitch in a single day, but it was a spectacular two weeks for everyone involved too. It’s all about giving opportunities to youngsters that will stay with them forever.”
