Midfielder awarded monthly prize by supporters
Grecians midfielder Matt Grimes was selected by the fans as Exeter City’s Cash Converters Player of the Month for September 2014.The 19-year-old scored for the Grecians in home fixtures against Mansfield Town and Bury, preceding a second call-up to the England Under-20 squad in a memorable month. He follows in the footsteps of fellow teenager Christy Pym, who was chosen by the supporters as the August 2014 Cash Converters of the Month.
Grimes was announced as the winner ahead of our last outing against Hartlepool United on Saturday, and was presented with the award by Matt Davey from Cash Converters Sidwell Street and City supporter Karen Roast, who registered her vote for Matt and won a £50 Cash Converters voucher.
