City to play pair of pre-season fixtures
Exeter City will be travelling to Scotland for a training camp and two fixtures during pre-season ahead of the 2015/16 campaign.Flybe, main club sponsors of Exeter City since 2003, will be flying the Grecians from Exeter Airport to Edinburgh Airport on Tuesday 7th July, and transporting the side back home on Friday 10th July.
Low-cost airline Flybe offer direct flights from Exeter to the Scottish capital, as well as to London City, Manchester, Newcastle, Belfast City and Dublin. You can also fly directly from Exeter to a number of popular European destinations such as Paris CDG, Amsterdam and Alicante.
Exeter will play their first fixture on Tuesday July 7th – the date of arrival – against East Fife at Bayview Stadium (kick-off 7.30pm). A second fixture is due to take place on Thursday 9th July, which will be announced once the arrangements are finalised.
Further information including ticket pricing for both fixtures will be publicised in due course.
These matches come in addition to four which have already been announced – after returning from Scotland, Exeter will then visit Weston-super-Mare on Wednesday 15th July, before Fluminense Under-19 contest a fixture at St James Park on Monday 20th July. Later in the month a City XI will visit AFC St Austell on Tuesday 28th July, before the Grecians visit Torquay United at Plainmoor on Friday 31st July.
Details of more pre-season friendly fixtures – including matches at St James Park – will be announced during the coming weeks, so keep an eye on exetercityfc.co.uk and our social media channels for more news.
