With Euro 2016 drawing to a close, attention has turned towards the start of the domestic campaign. Following a trip to Blackpool on the opening day, Exeter City return to action at St James Park for an EFL Cup tie against Brentford on 9th August. The clash with the Bees is the first of three home fixtures in the space of a week for the Grecians, with Hartlepool United making the long trip to Devon on Saturday 13th August and Crawley Town the visitors on Tuesday 16th August.
