Matt Taylor has given his assessment of Tuesday evening's Carabao Cup defeat to Wycombe on penalties.
Following a goalless draw against the Chairboys, who ended the match with nine men after injuries, the game was decided on spot kicks, and Taylor feels City should have seized the opportunity.
"When you play against a side with ten men for such a long period of time, you have to create more chances," he said.
"I said to the group we had to show more personality than we did and affect the ball in more dangerous areas.
"It felt very disjointed. Too many moments petered out into nothing."
Following Alex Hartridge's positive Covid test last wee,k, Matt has also confirmed that Sam Nombe has also tested positive for the virus, while Josh Key has shown symptoms.
The EFL have been informed and are in dialogue with the club, ahead of more testing of all players and staff before Saturday's scheduled match with Leyton Orient.
