Exeter City can confirm that Alfie Pond has signed for Premier League Side Wolves for an undisclosed fee.
18-year-old Alfie, a graduate of the Academy made his first-team debut last season in the Papa John's Trophy, making two appearances in that competition as well as being a constant in the U23 Premier League Cup.
Pond was a second half substitute in City's 7-0 win at Cheltenham in the Carabao Cup and also featured heavily in the Grecians' pre-season schedule this season, before joining Yeovil Town on-loan.
This is yet another success story for the Exeter City Academy as Alfie will join the likes of Ollie Watkins, Ethan Ampadu, Ben Chrisene and Matt Grimes to sign for Premier League sides.
