All you need to know if you're joining us on the road!

Exeter City hit the road for one final time in the 23/24 season this Saturday, with a trip to face Northampton Town in a 2pm kick-off.

Match Tickets

We have been allocated an initial 600 tickets in the South Stand at Sixfields, on sale at the following prices:

  • Adults - £24
  • O65/U21 - £20
  • U18 - £12
  • U14 - £8
  • U7 - FREE

Disabled supporters pay relevant age, with free carer inclusive.

Match day prices rise by £1.

  • Address: Upton Way, Northampton, NN5 5QA.

After nearly 100 years ground sharing with the County Cricket club, a new football specific stadium was designed in the mid-nineties to drive the Club forward.

Getting to Sixfields

By Car (3:34 hrs) SATNAV: NN5 5QA

There are several routes you can take to Northampton. Via the M5 and M4, turn off at Junction 15 for Swindon and take the A420 (nice) to Oxford. After a short hop on the M40 race past Silverstone and follow the signs for Northampton.

Alternatively, you can follow the M5 until Junction 4A for the M42, join the M6 Southbound and merge onto the M1. Northampton is served by J16.

Car Parking

The North car park at Sixfields can be used for £5.00 to park their car at all matches. 

All cars are parked at the owner's risk at all times and the club shall not be liable for any loss or damage, howsoever caused.

If you are parking anywhere else, please be respectful of local residents and businesses and park considerately.

Grecian Travel

Grecian Travel, completely run by the Supporters' Club, and not for profit, will be available for City's trip to Northampton.

  • The coach will depart from Unit 1 nightclub at 7am for a fare of £34.

Other pick-up points include: Honiton Road park and ride (by Miller and Carter Steakhouse), junction 28 (Cullompton services), junction 27 (Tiverton), junction 25 (Taunton). All other pick-ups by prior arrangement.

Currently Grecian Travel can only be booked directly.

East Devon Travel

East Devon Travel, completely run by the East Devon Travel group, independent of East Devon Grecians, and not for profit, will be available for City's trip to Northampton.

  • The coach will depart from Honiton at 6.30am for a fare of £34.

Other pick-up points include: Honiton Road Park and Ride at 6:45am, Cullompton, Tiverton and Taunton (7.30am) pick up on request!

Inside the Stadium

A bar is available once you have entered the stadium, this is in a fenced off area, while there are refreshments available for you to purchase pitchside.

Northampton operate a bar code entry system, so please do keep your ticket in good condition.

Ground regulations are available here while if you do have any issues, concerns or problems, please do speak to a steward who will be delighted to assist.

Pubs and Matchday refreshments

The ground has a supporters bar which welcomes away fans or there is the Walter Tull on the retail park as well as numerous pubs in town but this is a forty-minute walk away.

Just outside of town, on the A45, is the Red Lion Truck Stop (NN7 4DE) which is a bar/restaurant with sport on TVs.

There are a number of chain restaurants including KFC, TGI Friday’s and McDonalds as well as a Hungry Horse pub.

Total Distance

The distance from Exeter to Northampton Town is 186 miles and will take roughly 3 and a half hours each way.
