Tom Carroll played the full 90 minutes as Bristol Rovers' 15th minute goal proved to be the winner.
City were on the front foot until Brandon Aguilera struck from the edge of the box to send Rovers into the lead. On that goal, Tom said, "We started the game really brightly, had a lot of the ball, played good football in areas that could have hurt them and then out of nothing, a bit of a wonderstrike really, I felt like the game changed from then."
When asked about how the game changed, Tom explained, "I just felt that our heads dropped a little bit... in football you're going to concede, you're going to go 1-0 down but that doesn't mean it's game over."
City created decent opportunities throughout the game. "Looking back, I think we probably created enough opportunities to win the game. They slowed it down a lot today, and were a very direct team."
