💬 Viljami Sinisalo ahead of Wigan

Hear from City's no.1

Exeter City's no.1, Vil Sinisalo has said that City can right a wrong against Wigan as they look to carry their momentum forward from positive recent wins.

The Grecians came from behind in windy conditions to win against high-flying Peterborough on Tuesday evening, thanks to a hard-fought team performance.

Reflecting on that game, Vil said: "It's a great win. We won a bit ugly, it's probably one of the first games this season where we have actually not played that well and got the three points, which is obviously the sign of a good side."

On Saturday, City travel to the DW Stadium to face Wigan Athletic, a side that City have suffered defeat to twice this season, but Vil fancies City's chances.

Looking ahead to Saturday, Vil said: "We are a completely different team to what we were then. The confidence around the group, around the place. The way we've been playing, the amount of confidence that we should be taking from beating teams like Peterborough, going to Barnsley and beating them, going to Bristol Rovers and beating them.

"We need to put the wrong right which happened twice against Wigan earlier in the season, so we'll be looking to do that on Saturday."
