Gary Caldwell has given his thoughts as the Grecians prepare to take on Barnsley at Oakwell this Saturday.
Confidence is high after City's 1-0 away win at Bristol Rovers on Tuesday - their first victory on the road since September following Sonny Cox's goal, but Caldwell says his side must be even better if they are to get a result at a ground where the home side have not lost since the end of September.
"It's going to be a tough game. We went to Blackpool and found what a difficult game it is. It is not a game that you can play ok in and expect to get something, we'll have to probably play even better than we did on Tuesday," Gary said.
"Barnsley are a good team that set up tactically in a very specific way. It is a game to look forward to, but we have to be ready for the challenge and go with a game plan that can be a platform to win.
"We have to know exactly what we need to do, and stick to the process and mindset to carry out the strategy."
