Jack Aitchison scored City's first before assisting Reece Cole in a 2-1 win over Barnsley at Oakwell.
City were cruising in the first half, in what Aitchison referred to as "one of our best performances of season." Jack went on to explain that, "the way we played, the way we linked with eachother upfront, the way we defended, it was brilliant."
The second half was a different story, as City found themselves having to defend against a determined Barnsley side, "we always knew it was going to come. They're 11 unbeaten, they're at home. I thought the boys done well."
Jack's goal was deserved after a string of strong, yet goalless performances. Despite this, Jack was "just happy the boys got the win. Even on Tuesday, I didn't get the goal, and I was just happy obviously to get the win!"
