✍️ Millenic Alli is a Grecian!

30 January 2024

We are delighted to announce that attacker Millenic Alli has become Gary Caldwell’s second signing of the day, with the 23-year-old signing for an undisclosed fee from National League side FC Halifax Town, subject to EFL approval.

Alli, who operates primarily as a left-sided forward, but can also play centrally has scored seven goals in 21 matches for the Shaymen this season.

The Irishman spent his youth career at Bury FC, before his first senior move came at South Shields. After a season in the north-east, he moved to Ashton United and a season later he transferred to Stockport County.

While with the Hatters, Alli went on loan to Chorley where he accumulated three goals in 33 matches in the National League North and helped the side reach the play-offs.

Alli joined Halifax in July 2022 after his release from Stockport and has scored 16 goals across his two seasons with the West Yorkshire side. His last goal for Town came on Boxing Day as he netted the opener in a 2-1 win.

Of his seven this season, four have come from the left, two from the right and once when playing as the sole centre forward, a statistic that excites Caldwell.

Alli is currently nursing a slight knock and will be available for selection within a couple of weeks.

He will be sponsored by RGB Building Supplies, with his squad number yet to be confirmed.
