Tom Carroll has given his thoughts after the Grecians were beaten 2-1 at Peterborough United.
Carroll scored his first goal in six years at the Weston Homes Stadium - and his first league goal in seven - as he levelled in the first half with a deflected strike, but it was not enough for Gary Caldwell's side to avoid defear.
"Coming away with nothing is the big disappointment for us, after what I thought was a really good performance." Tom said.
"I thought we were positive and had chances against what I think is the best side in the league. Their first goal was tough timing because we got off to a really good start.
"We didn't let us knock it too much."
