Following his first professional start, Akeel Higgins gave his reaction to City's 1-1 draw against Reading.
After falling behind early on, the Grecians fought back through a Jayden Wareham equaliser, but couldn't find the winning strike to seal all three points.
"I think if we took our chances in the first half it would've put us in a better position but overall, our first half performance was really well," said Akeel.
"We went down in the second half, but we can build from it and take it into our next game against Stockport."
Just over a month into his loan, Akeel said he's enjoying playing at senior level for the first time in his career.
"It's very different coming from academy level, I really enjoyed my experience and hopefully can take that on into the next game."
