Exeter City attacker Akeel Higgins has given his preview of Saturday's clash with Wigan Athletic at St James Park.
The Grecians head into the game in strong form, having won three in a row in all competitions and will be looking to continue the momentum as the Latics head to the Park.
"Everyone is in high spirits as we should be having won our last three games. The wins show good professionalism and character and hopefully we can take that into the game on Saturday."
Akeel had a night to remember in the Devon derby where he scored his first professional goal in City's 2-0 win. Speaking about his memories of the goal he said:
"It was unreal. It's something I've been working towards all my life and what an occasion to do it - doing it in front of the Big Bank made it even more special and more importantly we won the game.
"Everything went silent when the ball came through from Ethan, it felt like I had all the time in the world and I glanced over to check I was onside, so I just had to put the ball into the back of the net and I'm just glad it went in!"
