Exeter City manager Gary Caldwell has said the team will take on Wigan Athletic with real belief on Saturday as the Grecians look to make it four wins in a row.
Speaking in his weekly pre-match press conference he said: "Momentum is important as you build confidence and belief in what you are doing and that comes form consistent daily standards and behaviours and when those results come they give you confidence to keep doing that and winning more games.
"We know how difficult it is to win games in League One and we've got another tough one on Saturday but we are going in, in a really good place. There is real belief in the squad that we can keep going on this run but we know we have to be at our very best if we want to do that."
City come into the match on the back of three straight wins in three competitions and Gary highlighted that the work done in the week is key to success on the pitch:
"It's been coming for a number of weeks and isn't something that has just clicked. The work we have done on the training pitch with the players since pre-season is starting to come together and the big thing for me is that after Plymouth we didn't rest on that and used it as a springboard to do better and more.
"Another pleasing aspect is how many players we have been able to use in the last three games - we've pretty much used the whole squad and they have contributed to victories. The group is in a really good place - there is great harmony and competition for places in the group which is a really good place to be."
