Charlie Cummins was delighted with a late strike that secured victory over Huddersfield Town in the Emirates FA Cup at the Accu Stadium.
Despite drawing the highest ranked team in the first round of the Emirates FA Cup, Charlie and his teammates went into the game full of confidence: "I thought we came up confident and we came up knowing that there was definitely a result there for us to get, and thankfully we went out and put a good performance in and got the result we wanted."
Charlie's strike in the last ten minutes secured the win, with the Irishman revisiting the magical moment that put the Grecians ahead: "It was such a good feeling to put us 2-1 up in that sort of game. Such a good feeling to go celebrate with the fans then and have all the boys around me. And yeah, it was really good."
Approximately 300 City supporters made the journey to Yorkshire to support the lads, with Charlie reflecting on their support: "They're such a massive help. When we're on the pitch and get to celebrate in front of them, it means everything to us players and hopefully to them makes it worth their travel."
