A month on from his Weston Super Mare loan recall, City youngster Charlie Cummins looked lively despite Exeter City's defeat to Lincoln City at St James Park.
A game that saw the Grecians go toe-to-toe with the greatest footballing side in the division at the moment, Charlie felt the City performance was deserved of some points on the board, "It's just disappointing to come away with no points at all."
A first senior start under the leadership of Matt Taylor left the young defender extremely pleased, "I'm obviously very proud, it would have been nice to come away with a point or three but at the same time I'm also proud of the fight we showed in the second half."
City now look ahead to Saturday when they will host Cardiff City at St James Park, another prospect the Irishman is looking forward to, "If we put on another performance like we did today, I definitely feel like we can get three points this time around."
