Exeter City assistant manager Dan Green has said the team can win in 'more ways than one' tomorrow night as the Grecians kick-off their EFL Trophy against Spurs U21 on Tuesday night.
Speaking ahead of the 7pm kick-off, Dan said: "It will be a really good test for us. And it's a game that we are taking seriously. We have multiple ways that we need to win this game. Obviously, winning the result is one way, but we also need players to come through and play in this match and put themselves forward for selection for Saturday.
"I think there are huge benefits to this competition. I think we've got the youngest squad in League Two at the moment. So I don't think we need to give any more young players opportunities just in this game. I think they're getting it on a regular basis, but it is a fantastic opportunity for those young players to put themselves forward to start games on a Saturday and we're going to need everyone.
"We really want to grow that competitiveness within the squad, and that comes from players performing on nights like tomorrow night."
