Exeter City's No.22 Frankie Phillips has given his thoughts on a narrow defeat to Torquay United after a strong personal performance for the Grecians in goal.
City's youthful and Academy Powered starting XI fell to a 2-1 defeat at Plainmoor despite Frankie's fine performance and a goal from Kieran Wilson.
Speaking after the match, Frankie said: "We are a little bit disappointed with the scoreline, but I don't think you can fault the lads.
"I think from start to finish when things weren't going our way that we stuck by each other and I think that's how we had chances in the end, I think a draw could have been a fair result. I think if the young lads can take a lot from that moving forward, and will benefit a lot from that as well."
