Gary Caldwell ahead of Rotherham United (H)

City return to St James Park for the first time since beating Stevenage 3-0, a 3-1 away win at Port Vale and a 2-2 draw with Reading continuing the Grecians unbeaten run.

While Gary Caldwell is often found not wanting to dwell on the past, be those positive or negative results, it is hard to argue with the form that Exeter City possess coming into Saturday's game.

"Delighted that we managed to back up a really difficult away game at Port Vale, travel again and get a point on the road. It was a good point, it becomes a brilliant point if we can win on Saturday."

Jack McMillan will have felt hard-done by with a forced substitution on his return to the starting eleven following an injury, Caldwell however thankful that the change was more of a precautionary measure.

"We're hoping that he might be able to do something tomorrow or that he might be available for Saturday, so we'll assess that tomorrow."

"I think the conditions as well, how heavy the pitch was, isn't great when you're coming back from a calf issue. Hopefully he's going to be ok because he's a huge part of the team and how we want to play."

Rotherham United got the better of the Grecians back in September, something that the Exeter City manager is looking to put right as it's the Millers turn to travel.

"As a squad they're a dangerous team, it's a game we lost earlier on in the season at their place and we don't want to lose to the same team twice."

"There's a lot at stake at this game on Saturday, it's a massive game. We have to recover, and prepare 100% against a team that is playing with confidence."

"We have to keep that run going, and keep ourselves in a position in the league where we're looking up rather than looking down."
