Gary Caldwell previews trip to Port Vale (A)

Gary Caldwell pre Port Vale

Exeter City manager Gary Caldwell has called on his players to continue with the same behaviours that have been successful in recent weeks - as they head to face Port Vale on Saturday.

City head to Vale Park on a strong run of form, four unbeaten and they have picked up 13 points from their last six games. The Grecians face the side bottom of League One, but know from facing Vale earlier in the season they are tough opponents.

Speaking in his pre-match press conference, Gary said: "They are fighting for their status and have a new manager who gave them an initial bounce. They've picked up a few good results and we know from earlier in the season when they hadn't won a game that if you take them lightly and don't perform then you will lose games against anyone in League One.

"They are fighting for their lives and need to win. It's their 150th anniversary game so everything is there for them to dig a result out and we have to make sure that we turn up with the same behaviours and performance levels as we've had for a number of weeks - we are in a really good place and we have to keep that momentum going."
