Gary Caldwell previews Wycombe Wanderers (H)

Gary pre Wycombe

Exeter City manager Gary Caldwell is expecting a really tough test on Saturday as City host Wycombe Wanderers in the Emirates FA Cup second round.

The Grecians face a Chairboys side that come to Devon in strong form - but the FA Cup can often be a leveller. Speaking ahead of the 3pm kick-off, Gary said: "I'm expecting a really difficult FA Cup tie. I said after Halifax I wanted a home draw - I wanted an easier on than this.

"To be at SJP for the first time after the fire and to host another League One club - we know how difficult it will be and we will need everyone behind us to try and get us through to the third round which brings the excitement of the Premier League sides coming in. It's a big game that we have to be ready for."

"I think it's a 50/50 game when you play someone that is in the same league. Hopefully the home advantage can give us that advantage and we get our crowd going. Whenever SJP is loud I think the players react and produce a positive performance. Hopefully it's a really big day for the club where we can put ourselves in with a chance of getting a really special tie in the next round or one after that."
