Off the back of a 96th minute header that secured a late point against Stockport County at St James Park, Jack Bycroft is looking forward to Exeter City's trip to Burton Albion on Saturday, 25 April.
When Jack went forward for that infamous corner late in stoppage time, he explained his feelings in that moment: "Pierce Sweeney was telling me to stick it on the keeper, but Jack Aitchison was telling me to get across the front. I had absolutely no interest in standing on the goalie, so listened to Jack and got across the front. I knew Danny has a top delivery where he'll either go front, middle or back so I just chucked myself at it and hoped for the best."
The Grecians now face Burton Albion who sit currently in 18th place only four points ahead, so naturally a game that Jack and his teammates are looking to take all three points from. "We know where we are; we're in a relegation scrap. We've had lots of opportunities to get ourselves out of it, but it's now or never. We've given ourselves a platform for the last few weeks to still be in with a chance, and now it's a massive game on Saturday."
