Matt Taylor previews a huge clash against Burton Albion (A)

Matt Taylor pre Burton Albion

Exeter City interim Manager Matt Taylor has given his thoughts ahead of City's HUGE clash with Burton Albion at the Pirelli Stadium.

City head to Burton aiming knowing that they need to pick up three points which could move them out of the final relegation place, with just two matches left of the 26/27 season.

Speaking ahead of the 3pm kick-off, Matt said: "There is a real belief that we can still achieve something. We've had a really good few days of training. The end to last weekend has certainly helped and the run of one defeat in five and eight goals in the last three games.

"To come back from 3-2 down in the last minute in the manner we did -  is a positive sign. We've had a strong attacking threat and we know that we have to tighten up in certain areas defensively as a whole team - we attack together, we score together and we defend together.

Over 1400 City fans will be making the 7 hour return trip to the Pirelli Stadium on Saturday and Matt was keen to thank them for their support.

"It's massive and a testament and tribute to every one of them that is making the trip this season, and everyone that has supported us in the other 22 away trips this season. There is a lot of finance and commitment in the package of being an Exeter City supporter. We hope we are celebrating with them come 5pm."
