Exeter City host Tranmere Rovers at St James Park on Saturday in celebration of the club's 125th year, an occasion that club captain Jack Fitzwater is hotly anticipating.
The Grecians come into the game off the back of a disappointing afternoon in Staffordshire where they were defeated 1-0 by Port Vale, a game that Fitzwater is eager to put in the past; "It's one where we felt it was a missed opportunity, and we've had a lot of discussions about how to put things right. We've put that game to bed now and we're on for a positive week. We've had a good few days training, we've come off the back of a good day today, and we're trying to create a positive environment. Onto the next game at home in front of our home fans on a celebratory weekend where we know we're strong, we know what we're capable of, and we're really, really looking forward to Saturday."
Home form is something that Fitzwater is looking to instil into his fellow teammates; "I want teams to hate coming to Exeter City, whether that's on a Tuesday night or on a Saturday, teams have got to hate it. We've got to create an atmosphere and a culture where teams know they're going to be in for a tough day at the office. We've done that the first few games and we should be sat here with three wins from three at home."
