Jack Fitzwater previews Lincoln City (A)

Jack pre Lincoln City

Exeter City defender Jack Fitzwater has given his thoughts ahead of City's long trip to face Lincoln City on Saturday in Sky Bet League One.

City have put in a string of strong performances over the last few weeks but haven't picked up the points they had been hoping for - and will be looking to change this on Saturday.

Ahead of the trip to face a strong Lincoln side who are sitting in third in the League, Jack said: "We're going to be expecting a fast start from them. They're obviously at home, they've picked up a lot of wins and it's a game where we're going to have to be at our very best and I'm sure we will be to come and pick three points."

Speaking about trying to turn the strong performances into results, Jack added: "There's been nothing in the games recently. I think we've had chances to go ahead, to go in front, we've had decisions go against us and we've shot ourselves in the foot a bit where we've made a few mistakes which haven't really helped but the performances have been there, the effort and the energy from the boys has been really, really good and the intensity has been there.

"We've just got to try and turn the performances into wins as best we can now and that starts on Saturday. It's going to be a really tough game but the way we've prepared and the way we've played in the last few games, I don't see a reason why we can't go there and get three points."
