Jake Doyle-Hayes has given his thoughts ahead of City's trip to Wycombe Wanderers on Tuesday night, with the team looking to make amends for Saturday's loss to Mansfield.
Doyle-Hayes, who joined from Sligo and has made two starts in his first two league games so far, is now looking forward to his first away trip with the team and experiencing a match away from St James Park.
"We've been straight back on the training pitch and we know exactly what we need to do now to put things right. It'll be good to go to a ground I have never played at before and experience something different.
"We have put together a game plan and we have a good chance of winning if we can put that into action. The fans have been so good in the two home games, and although it's a different feeling at an away ground and you can be up against, it'll be so good to see what the away crowd is like.
