Exeter City drew 0-0 against Walsall at St James Park, with club Vice-Captain Jake Doyle-Hayes reacting at full-time.
Jake felt that City should have been in the driving seat by half-time, "I think we need to come away with three points. We had a few chances that feel like we should've taken, especially in the first half. We should be coming in, winning the game at half time. I feel like we're coming good, I think that performance probably deserved to win, but, again it doesn't matter if you don't put the ball in the back of the net."
Jake starred in both of the Grecians' games at the Park this week after injury uncertainty and spoke about his experience in that regard, "It's difficult when you're injured I suppose, and I've been trying to do as much as I can to get back fit as quick as possible. It probably hasn't been as easy as I thought it was going to be, but I'm doing all I can to make sure I'm available and and working hard during the week to try and make myself a little more ready for the weekend."
