Jayden Wareham reflects on a difficult afternoon for the Grecians in East London.
Summer signing Jayden Wareham returned to the scoresheet this afternoon, a penalty awarded to City in the closing phases of the first half saw the young striker step up and calmly put the ball into the back of the net, his seventh of the season already. "It's always lovely to be on the scoresheet, as a striker that's what you get judged on."
A difficult pill to swallow for City came in a sudden swing of momentum, the hosts turning the game around in the space of five minutes, "I think we gifted them two goals, obviously not the best feeling but we have to move on from it and there's more games coming thick and fast over the Winter period."
