It's been a long road back to fitness for Johnly Yfeko, however after successfully completing 60 minutes in his first EFL start for almost a year last Saturday, he's excited to be back.
Successive hamstring injuries hampered his first season as a Grecian, but Gary Caldwell still saw enough to make his loan from Rangers permanent, and now back fit, Johnly is raring to kick on.
"It's good to be back, it's been a long time since January, so just to get back onto the pitch after a long eight months has been brilliant.
"I've only played 60 minutes twice this season, and that was one of them (against Lincoln), so obviously overdoing it at this stage in time wouldn't have been the best thing to do, I was just trying to get onto the pitch for the next game."
The Grecians face Reading this weekend, and despite the Royals struggles at the start of the season, Johnly is expecting a tough physical game.
"They will obviously be a good football team, a lot of shooters, I'll be expecting a total football team who will try and break us down. If we're good at defending and stopping them we won't expect shots on our goal. It'll be one of them games where you might just have to take a hit in the face or somewhere else!"
