Assistant manager Kevin Nicholson has given his thoughts as Exeter City prepare for the final game of the season away at Mansfield Town on Saturday, as well as a fourth successive season in League One.
After 45 games, there is one more to go before the season draws to a close, and there has been lots to be cheerful about at St James Park, following a cup run, some memorable wins, and with a top half finish still in sight. Mansfield are the opponents, who beat Peterborough United 4-2 on Wednesday evening.
"It was an entertaining game and it could have been anything, and that's the beauty and the fear of this time in the season, as you can go and prepare and feel like you've got everything there but there is a lot going on in the players' minds.
"We are asking the lads to be ready one last time, be professional, and see the opportunity we still have to finish 12th in an incredibly strong league. Hopefully we can go out and execute that.
"It will be a good atmosphere and the pitch looks lovely, and it will be two teams who should be in a celebratory mood."
