Exeter City academy graduate Liam Oakes has given his thoughts ahead of City's trip to face Barnsley on Saturday at Oakwell.
City go into the match on the back of a hard-fought 1-1 draw with Burton Albion at SJP on Tuesday and will be aiming to return to winning ways at a stadium where they have tasted victory on their last three visits.
Speaking ahead of the match, Liam said: "We will do a lot of work on them tomorrow. We've got to take all the positives from Burton and aim to get three points on Saturday. If we can do that it will give us momentum to keep pushing on and to finish as high as we can."
It's been a breakthrough season for one of our own Liam, who has made 21 appearances in all competitions so far this season and Liam is delighted with his progress and is looking to continually improve.
"At the start of the season I aimed to get a League game and work as hard as I could to get that and then your aspirations change and I just want to get as many minutes as I can, work as hard as I can and see where it takes me."
