Matt Taylor reacts to defeat at Bloomfield Road against Blackpool in Sky Bet League One.
The Grecians began the game on the back foot, allowing the Tangerines to control much of the game for the first half before inevitably opening scoring through Tom Bloxham. Taylor said "The first half an hour was where the game was lost. Their direct play down our left hand side allowed them a foothold with chances, set piece pressure and the goal. We couldn't defend it, we couldn't get hold of that aspect of the game."
Taylor says that added frustration came from Blackpool's vulnerable position in the table before play was not capitalised on. "We knew what the game was going to look like and feel like, and you know my frustration and you know everyone's frustration and disappointment that the first half an hour panned out the way it did - we know how difficult it is to chase a lead."
