Exeter City manager Matt Taylor has given his reaction as City rounded off pre-season with a 1-1 draw against Bristol City at SJP.
Reece Cole's stunner was cancelled out by a deflected strike by Bristol City's Horvat late on to deny City the win.
Speaking after the match, and reflecting on pre-season, Matt said: "Pleased with where we are right now. Not just in terms of today and the result, but the fact that we've got through a six week block of work in the condition that we are is testament to the staff."
"It looks as though apart from Gwion's shoulder, which is an impact injury that we've come through relatively unscathed in relation to a lot of muscle problems, which the club had for a long period of time. So delighted where we are from a physical perspective and availability aspect. And then in terms of where today's game was probably a reflection of where the team is, we started so, so brightly.
"We had tempo, we had rhythm, we were forward, we were thinking forward. We created numerous chances. That keeper made to a three outstanding slaves in the first 5 or 10 minutes of that game. But we didn't go ahead. And then the game went a little bit slow for my liking."
