Taylor Perry on draw with Bristol City (H)

Taylor Perry post Bristol City

Exeter City midfielder Taylor Perry was delighted to get an hour in the legs, as City rounded off pre-season with a 1-1 draw against Championship side Bristol City at SJP.

The summer signing played a part in the result as Reece Cole's stunner was cancelled out by a deflected strike by Bristol City's Horvat. Speaking after full-time, Taylor said: "It was a very tough test against a good side. The main thing getting out of the game today was there was no injuries, coming out of the game and getting the last bit of work in the legs. Obviously we would have liked to like the win. But it was a solid test against a a tough side.

It was Taylor's first experience of SJP as a home play and he reflected on it saying: "When I was walking out at the start of the game, the atmosphere was very good, and the season hasn't even started yet, so I can only imagine what it's going to be like at the first home game!"
