Exeter City manager Matt Taylor has given his reaction to City's first win of the season as the Grecians beat Accrington Stanley.
First half goals from captain Jack Fitzwater and Gwion Edwards saw City pick up a comfortable win at the Park.
Speaking after the game, Matt said: "So pleased with the start. We were aggressive putting the ball in the box. People can say it's a an ugly part of the game or a new part of the game, but the long throw is a tool, a weapon, and then we got a first contact and a second ball, and it's in the back of the net. So nothing better than that, that start. And then we added to it. I thought we managed the game really well. From that point on.
"We'd have liked to score another and we probably should have scored another but we certainly kept our goal well protected today."
"It wasn't a pretty game, probably wasn't a spectacle, probably wasn't one you'd go home and watch it back if you got the opportunity to do that. But there was enough honesty and endeavour on show from both teams today to make it entertaining enough. And we still had the most amount of quality attacking moments."
