Academy graduate Sonny Cox netted the winner as Exeter City faced Shrewsbury Town in Sky Bet League Two.
Sonny reflected on the game until he found the breakthrough late in the second half: "I feel like it was a really tough game; every every away game in this league will be really tough. But I feel like the boys throughout the whole game fought, they won their individual duals, and yeah, we pushed to the end and ended up getting a goal, which was good."
The goal itself saw George Birch play a ball through to Cox, with the young striker reflecting on the moment: "I saw the ball get, like, half cleared to Birchy and then looked forward and realised I could be in. So I was screaming to Birchy and he played like the perfect ball, and from then on, I just tried keeping myself as calm as possible to take a good touch, which I did, and then just picked my spot and placed it there."
