Exeter City Women return to the County Ground this weekend for their second WNL Cup groupstage fixture, as they take on Bristol Rovers.
City made a winning start to their WNL Cup campaign, defeating Bristol City PGA in a thrilling 4-3 win, and will be looking to continue that opening momentum on Sunday.
The Gas won their opening groupstage fixture at home against Keynsham, and currently sit top of Group B. The team who finishes top will automatically qualify for the knockouts, making Sunday a vital fixture for both sides as they look to progress.

Tickets can be purchased online via your ticketing account here, or in person at St James Park, or by calling 01392 411 243. There will be no in-person ticket sales on the gate, but you can purchase tickets online up until kick-off, with stewards on hand to support.
Supporter Travel
CAR: The County Ground is located along Coach Road in Newton Abbot, TQ12 1EJ. You can access the stadium via car, but please note there is only a small car park on site. Decoy Country Park car park (TQ12 1DP) is just a short walk away, and offers parking all day on Sunday for just £2 with plenty of space.
PUBLIC TRANSPORT: You can also get here by public transport! The Number 2 Bus from Exeter to Newton Abbot terminates at Newton Abbot Bus Station (19 minutes walk). Or, you can get the train to Newton Abbot station (11 minute walk).
Hazel Bound Tribute
Sunday's match is dedicated to Hazel Bound, a long-standing season ticket holder and Trust member who suddenly passed away this summer.
All of us at Exeter City Women were deeply saddened to learn of the sudden passing of supporter Hazel Bound over the summer. A long-standing season ticket holder and Trust member, Hazel was a familiar and much-loved presence at both Exeter City women’s and men’s matches for decades.
Always among the first to arrive at SJP, Coach Road or Exwick, she was known for her warm smile, kind heart and unwavering dedication to the club she loved. Hazel sponsored Bow Jackson for the past four seasons, and her name continues to appear next to Bow’s after club staff raised the money to continue the sponsorship in Hazel’s name this summer.
As a mark of respect for Hazel, this Sunday the players will be wearing black armbands, and we ask you all to join us in a minute’s applause before the match, as we share a moment to remember Hazel. Hazel’s dedication, generosity and loyalty to Exeter City and the wider community will be remembered with enormous affection by all who knew her.
Our thoughts are with her husband Terry, sister Di, and all of Hazel’s family and friends as always.
